Has Toyota dropped a hint that the glorious FT-1 concept car could be bound for a showroom one day? It today unveiled new photographs of the super-coupe, calling it ‘a real-world’ version. Toyota has form here, remember.
The all-new MINI – the third generation of the new MINI – is due later in 2013 and will be getting a more mainstream dashboard. Whatever you may think of the ‘new’ MINI – the one BMW make – it’s been a huge success. And it’s been a huge success because it’s managed to evoke the spirit of the original Issigonis Mini without being a pastiche.
The Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan Concept (pictured) previews the 2014 Golf Plus
VW are calling the Golf Sportsvan a concept, but it’s pretty much what we’ll see in the new VW Golf Plus when it arrives in mid-2014. Just like the other new Golfs, the Sportsvan uses the new MQB platform but grows in size. It’s 134mm longer than the Golf Plus and 83mm longer than the new Golf and has a wheelbase longer by 43mm to offer more space inside.
